Early bird not only catches the prey!!

In this busy world, we all search for good stamina, intelligence, health and beauty. We wander all around for that. We walk, pedal and twist our body to get stamina and health. We feed forcefully, to make our children intelligent. Adults stare  the mirror continuously for several hours, in order to work on our beauty component . But we never strive to know the right remedy. We are reluctant and lazy to do work and always prefer keeping our body in rest. All these are due to improper health and poor stamina. This leads to stress and tension. As a result, some of us go in search of a doctor, some go for a meditation centre and some go around the holy places.


Here is the solution for this day today problem. A very simple and effective step could be a beginning for all these issues. Just start the day by waking up early in the morning. This will help in correcting our most of the lifestyle problems. Our elders keep saying this and we never mind it. We feel very difficult to wake up at 6 in the morning. But our ancestors woke up in Brahma Muhurtha and lived long. 
Really is there any positive energy that we can connect with Brahma Muhurtha? Have we ever tried to think about this? 

Yes, Brahma Muhurtha can fill us with positive energy. There are lots of benefits, if we get up at Brahma Muhurtham. As Ayurveda is a science of positive health,  it has mentioned Brahma Muhurtha in the context of daily regimen. One would come across the tern Brahma Muhurtha at many contexts. Myth says, it is the time of Lord Brahma and we can obtain positive energy and his blessings directly. So it is considered as auspicious time in the Indian culture. The bride and bride groom are anointed with oil over their head and are sent for Mangala snanam (sacred bath for the sake of obtaining blessing) in Brahma Muhurtha time. After that only they are sent for other formalities and begin their new life. Elders are used to say that it is the time of Lord Brahma (Creator of the World) and hence it is very good to begin  the day at brahma muhurtha.

What is the time for Brahma Muhurtha? 

Brahma Muhurtham is the time period approximately 3 to 4 hours before sun rise.  There are lot of alternate views regarding this. Some of them say that it is 48 minutes from  1 hr 36 minutes before sun rise. Some of them say that it is just before 6 am. Some of them Say it is between 4 to 6 am.  Some say it is between 4.24 – 5.12 AM. 

Ayurveda has given a clear explanation for the exact time of Brahma Muhurtha. Muhurtha means time. One muhurtha is approximately 48 minutes. It says that Brahma Muhurtha is the second half of the last part of night. According to Ayurveda, one day is divided into 6 parts from 6 am to 6 am in the next morning. It is divided as – 
· 6 am to 10 am
· 10 am to 2 pm
· 2 pm to 6 pm
· 6 pm to 10 pm
· 10 pm to 2 am of next day
· 2 am to 6 am of next day

Among these 6 parts, last 2 are considered as night time. Last part of the night is between 2 am and 6 am. In this period 4 am and 6 am is the second half of the part of night. So the Brahma muhurtha is between 4 am to 6 am.

Scientifically we can prove that the Brahma muhurtha has positive vibrations and we can gain maximum energy during that time. We know that Atmosphere is made up of 5 layers. These layers are composed of Nitrogen, Oxygen, Argon mainly and other gases. They filter the unwanted radiations and provide energy  to the living being on the earth. As they are exposed to the Sun radiation, they expand and become lighter. Hence they move higher from the plane of earth. Because of the cooling nature of moon, these layers get cooled and come closer to the plane of earth. During the last part of night, these layers are very closer to the earth.  So, waking up at that time will give us more stamina and energy. This will automatically maintain our health and intelligence.  Brahma muhurtham not only gives us health, it also gives us ample time to do our duties without any hurrying, in that way we can be stress free also.
