Dr.R.Suneel Krishnan

 

Dr.R.Suneel Krishnan is an Ayurvedic Physician, hailing from a traditional family of physicians. He has completed his Bachelor's degree in Ayurveda from Sri Sai Ram Ayurveda Medical college and Research Institute Chennai, affiliated to The TamilNadu Dr. MGR Medical University. Also completed his Masters in Applied Nutrition from Annamalai University. He was awarded the best Alumni from his Alma Mater. He has participated and presented in various state level, national level and International Level Ayurvedic conferences. Dr.R.Suneel Krishnan is an active contributor of the Prithvi foundation which works for the upliftment of Ayurveda. He regards the Late Dr.L.Mahadevan as his Guru. He has taken a detailed interview of Dr.L.Mahadevan, which was published in Tamil by Kalachuvadu publications. Dr.R.Suneel Krishnan has been practising Ayurveda since 2010. His expertise is on Vata disorders such as Hemiplegia, Spinal disorders, Arthritis etc and disorders of Gastrointestinal tract such as APD, GERD, Hemorrhoids. Though he is a Physician by profession, he is a writer by passion. He has authored over 15 books including short story collections, novels, essays, literary criticisms. He is regarded as a very important spokesperson of Gandhian ideology. He is an editor of a website in Tamil dedicated to the same. He has received  Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar award for his Maiden short story collection. Dr.R.Suneel Krishnan also takes introductory classes on concepts and basics of Ayurveda periodically.
